Can I paste a TikTok URL and get a transcript?
No. CastTranscript does not download TikTok audio from a public link. Upload a video file you created, licensed or otherwise have permission to transcribe.
Which files can I upload?
MP4 and MOV clips with an audio track, up to two gigabytes or three hours. Short spoken videos are the intended input.
Does this create a public transcript page?
No. The project stays inside the owner’s account. Copy or export a file instead of publishing a public transcript URL.
Can I also generate SRT captions?
Yes when verified sentence timing is available. Untimed text remains available as TXT or Markdown.
